This site was conceived, researched, designed and established solely by expats residing in Tripoli, Libya for the single purpose of helping others find a local vet as well as places where pet food and supplies are sold.  We are completely independent and there is no formal affiliation with any vets or shops listed, although we are certainly indebted to several of the Libyan vets and government officials who have been extremely generous in providing information and answers to all our questions.

We do not endorse any vets listed here.  We list those whose services are most recommended by foreigners, so that you may check them out yourselves and decide if they are right for your needs.  If you want to recommend a veterinarian, please send us your vet info! 

Our goal is to keep things simple, useful and up-to-date and we welcome any information you feel will improve this site.
